The Five Meme

12345

I saw a post over at Pelf-ism..about her 5 meme, it looks quite interesting and she quotes at the end, “Seriously, I think tags that are sent my way will most probably end with me. I don’t know how you will react to being tagged, so yeah, if you feel like sharing your “five” with me (and other people), let me know (by sending me a trackback)!”

I don’t really know enough people to tag with this so I’ll add my own list to the ‘orphan 5 meme’!

5 things found in my room (I’m at work now so I’ll use here)

  • Filing Cabinet
  • Computers!
  • Rolodex
  • Screwed up Macdonald sausage and egg McMuffin wrapper
  • 1 Nike trainer

5 things I’ve always wanted to do

  • Skydive
  • Sing well
  • Experience zero-G
  • Take the controls of a helicopter
  • Meet Tony Blair

5 things found in my bag

  • A book called “Wireless Hacking Exposed”
  • A bank statement – yey! I’ve been looking for this!
  • A USB to MiniUSB cable
  • A pen that never works – why do I keep it in there?
  • A bunch of receipts that I haven’t put into expenses yet

5 things in my wallet

  • Drivers license
  • A book of 1st class stamps
  • A one dollar bill with a wheresgeorge url on it
  • A five Euro note
  • Harrods loyalty card

5 things I’m currently in to

  • Making WordPress plugins
  • My HTC x7500
  • Reading sci-fi ebooks
  • Writing a program for windows mobile 6
  • Learning to speak Cantonese

This is where I’m supposed to tag 5 people but I just can’t bring myself to do it! what if they don’t do it? what if they ignore it? oh no! the fear, the trepidation…. the easy get out clause – I don’t know enough people that do tags so I’ll publish this one and pretend I didn’t know. :-P

  1. Err.. What’s a Rolodex?!

I wanted to write a plugin too, but since I know nothing about PHPs and what-nots, I thought I’d better channel my energy elsewhere, LOL.

  2. A Rolodex is an old fashioned address book that would be on a desk. It looked like note cards in a cylinder and you could search through them and take the cards out if you wanted.

  3. you got there before me antiB!
its funny because I have literally 10′s of computers here and the fastest way to get someones number while I am on the phone is the rolodex. its also the easiestb thing to edit too!

  4. @pelf: I didn’t know what a Rolodex was either, but I googled it. ^^

@Andy: AH! The fear of tagging people and see them ignore the invitation. Haha! No harm would be done (my eye), and you’d have fun with your game/meme. I think I am stealing this too!
It’s always interesting to know about other bloggers’ little things!

  5. LOL! Half of the time I tag people, it doesn’t get done. And half of the time people tag me, somewhere between the next six months it will get done.

You can always turn a blind eye if you tag me…. And I will get it done right away. Really :)

  12. LOL!!!!! You have meme “redlight” fever. This is a psychological disorder caused by one’s fear of tagging the untaggable psyche of your imaginary untaggable friends.

There’s a book called “The Art Of Tagging” by
Dr. Willie B. Tagged…ha ha ha!

I know that feeling all too well. I still feel that way. BTW, what on Earth are you doing with a hacking book?
