Hi Andy,

I thought you and your readers would be interested to know how valuable all the links on the ComLuv site are. Last week I edited my site name in my profile to the phrase Social Media Marketing Strategist.

My blog has already moved up to the bottom of first page in the Google serps for that phrase in quotes. I have never used that phrase for links anywhere before and that phrase only appears rarely anywhere on my site.

seo sheffield: yes I agree, it’s finding the low competition words and making them stick that allows you to rank better for the higher competition words. I thought everyone knew that was the way to start getting attention, dominate the low competition and work your way up to the high competition… it’s what I’ve been doing for the past few clients anyway, that and relevant content with inline links
