Now in the second week! still time for you to enter….

It’s another rollover this week and that means another quick contest… I love rollovers! I have a much more increased sense of “i might get it this week” due to my recent syndicate win of over 88,000 GBP.
Join in the fun by leaving a comment with your guess of two different numbers between 1 and 9 for this Fridays’ Euromillions draw. If you guess correctly then you could win just like Bobby Revellian did last rollover.
This weeks prize:

RRP: 59.99 GBP
- contest is open until 6pm Friday
13 June 20 June
- free to enter, no requirements (other than entering! lol)
- open worldwide
- free postage
- batteries not included (4xAAA)
With my elottery syndicate, both lucky star numbers are guaranteed to come up for my syndicate every week, it means I can win a prize by matching just one number! To see how it works, check out my elottery site (now 5 years old!)
Good luck!

Some major additions to uVme have been made recently! There are now two more payment options for players to add to their playing account – Paypal and Netteller. This should make things a lot easier for those wanting to wager on games when they get good enough (or sending a challange to FiddyP and beating me!)
Another great thing is, you can now challenge for free. Signup to the site for free and you can send challenges to me or other folk you know by searching for their name on the pre-game screen and then send a challenge worth 0.00 .
If you haven’t seen it yet and you enjoy playing games, register for free by clicking the image on my imgames site and choose any game, once you see the game preview page you can select to play for free or put FiddyP in the search box and challenge me to a free game. (be gentle with me!)
I have some fantastic plans for imgames that are so nearly ready for action, I have the coding mostly done and the support site nearly ready. All that will be left will be the launch! (this is still top secret! I’ve pumped some serious cash into these plans, you are going to be blown away when you see it! there’s going to be prizes galore for readers here and a chance for you to get something for you and your own readers)

I’ve decided to run a blog contest for a wonderful pair of Vmoda Vibe headphones.
(I must say thanks to Jonathan at J-news for his post about viral blog contests, it helped me put the format together for this post.)
These are some of the best headphones that I’ve ever tried, they cancel almost all of external noise I was used to with other types!
Here’s what my friend Diego had to say about them…
thanks for these headphones Andy! they are brill, I had to turn the volume down on my mp3 player for the first time ever!
High praise indeed seeing as Diego listens to thousands of tunes on his mp3 player, all of them at max volume and hasn’t had an ear problem yet!
You can read an extensive review of the headphones at Anythingbutipod including frequency response and all sorts of technical information as well as some more photos. Here’s an excerpt:
The Vibes are a definite recommendation. I don’t know of any other IEM in the $100 category that comes close in sound clarity, crispness, instrument separation and fun, not to mention the build quality.
The rules:
- Post about this contest on your own blog and link to it with this url: http://www.fiddyp.co.uk/fiddyp-blog-contest/
with anchor text of FiddyP Contest or FiddyP Blog or just plain old FiddyP
- The post on your blog should be no less than 100 words, please mention something about the wordpress plugins I have made, you can see some of them here, here and here
- Once you have posted about it, send an email to
andy at teamplaylotto dot com with the subject line of “gimme some free headphones” so I can keep track of who has entered
- The contest runs for 3 weeks from today (Wednesday 10th October closing date)
- Open internationally, I will send the brand new unopened pack to anywhere in the world (I’m not responsible for any import tax!)
- The winner will need to make a post about the prize on their blog so I can link to it from here after the competition has ended (so everyone knows the winner received the prize)
- You can make a unique post about it for a maximum of once a week for 3 weeks for a maximum of 3 entries
The winner will be chosen by lottery, on Wednesday 10th October there will be a UK lottery draw, I will assign numbers to each person entered and the bonus ball drawn on the day will determine the winner. Say 20 people enter, each person gets two numbers, first person to enter gets numbers 1 and 2 and so on, if more than 49 people enter then I’ll work something else out.
This way, everyone can see the winner was chosen at random as long as I post what numbers are allocated to each entrant before the draw happens. Good luck!
Here’s another sexy picture of them:

How much are you willing to pay for free software?
October20
Now, I’m not a spammer and I firmly believe in only letting people know about important news and changes no more than once a week so it’s a little disconcerting to receive a stfu email (even though it was from less than a tenth of 1% of those who received the same email)
I tried to be polite in my response and pointed the person to the checkboxes that could be unticked to stop receiving email but to be honest, those check boxes were right there to be seen when they registered and similar to many support requests, it was easier for the person to type up an email requesting the answer than it was to RTFM so I felt like saying something else entirely! politeness won through though (thanks mum)
Now, ever the conscientious coder I don’t want to cause a problem with even 1 commentluvver so I need to ask you something..
if you’re using some software for free and benefit from it and like to use it, expect updates to fix bugs , someone on the end of an email when something goes wrong or want a speedy response on the forum, is it too much to ask for me to be able to let you know by email when those bug fixes and updates happen?
