I just stumbled upon this blog and am grateful I did. I have a WordPress Blog and every time they come out with an update, I cringe cause I hate upgrading it. It was always a pain in the neck, infact I would always put it off, I am not sure if I have upgraded recently. The Instant Upgrade is a blessing cause now I can do it fast and easy.

I also like the sound of One Click cause I hated uploading everything into my server. It was just a waste of time but now it will be even easier. Thank you for sharing both of these. I am off to download.

Once of the resources for wordpress plugins that is note worthy. Thank you. I have noted the post and will deifinately try to get to it soon. I especially liked the idea of the Dashboard Editor Plugin. Which ones do you always setup when you install a wordpress blog for yourself? Nice list, with some plugins I never saw up to now. Personally I´m not that much friend of changing the Admin area, simply because its easier to follow any instructions if you run the “standard”. Cforms is indeed my favourite on your list.
Just to add my personal WP favourites: statpress (for stats) and photodropper (to include flickr pics)

I really liked this post, well the site in it’s entirety actually.
I’ve been on the web for years and have finally a reason to run a blog.
I hate to see crappy personal blogs that lead to nothing you know.
But this post will help greatly as it allows me to actually begin to use and become more familiar with WP. Luckily I was able to run WP CMS as a .org set up rather then .com giving me more opportunities for customization and custom fields.
I will bookmark this page and come back often, do you update this post as new things appear?

Wordpress really does need one-click installations. It's one of the reasons I love Joomla! particularly because of the high-quality and easily installable extensions. Apart from that, the other plugins are excellent for backend interface modification, but I'm not a huge fan of AJAX (gasp).
