Literally a couple of hours away ..

It’s a beautiful sunny day, it has been like this for a few days now. I haven’t seen any of it. bohoo.

but, I have been cooped up in front of two shiny monitors beavering away to bring about the launch of the new ComLuv network yey!!

I seriously need to go out and have some food and a drink, I also need to write the announcement email so I think I’ll prolly just go on up to the pub beer garden and order some fish and chips with a pint of fosters and take my laptop with me to scribe a note to all the existing members to let them know they can start using the site.

oh and I activated the new version of CommentLuv on every sub domain site too so if you want to be the first to use commentluv, get yourself a blog at ComLuv!

ETA : GMT 16:00 for all the switches to be switched on!

  2. Nice work Andy., I’m sure all the users will appreciate your effort on CommentLuv. I’m going to put the plugin on two more of my sites but just wanted to see if there’s an updated version before I rush off and do the installation?

One more thing: when will the commentuv site be open again? I’d like to put my dofollows blogs in your directory.

P.S Is the curl error below because the services aren’t active yet?

  3. James: thanks! I haven’t released the new plugin yet but I do have it installed at ComLuv to give it some exercise before worldwide release.

your curl error is because your feed is not reachable. you might have a server error or it is down temporarily. I can’t view your site so I can’t check

  4. Does CommentLuv pull from Feedburner or direct from the site feed?

  5. it visits your page and reads your header for the link, if you use a feedburner forwarding link then it will read the feedburner one

  6. Ok, I guess it must be Feedburner issue – AGAIN! Grrr. Thanks.

  7. Boooo! I want to go to the pub too!

  8. Congratulations. It is great when finally coming out on the other side after having worked that hard. (Especially when the sun is shining outside).

  9. @Dean, I wonder if he’s still in the pub!!

Andy, I’ve just been looking around CommLuv – it’s f***ing fantastic. Now all you need is for Google to buy you out in two years time for about $1 billion!
