iMaingo Portable Speakers £37.50 + 0.50 P&P

£37.50 + 0.50 P&P

I thought I would bite the bullet and start offering my own stock for sale here. To start with I’m going to offer these amazing portable speakers for less than you can get elsewhere (I checked!). I have plenty in stock and will send them next day registered post for just fiddyp! (50p). Here’s the info…

iMaingo Speakers

These portable speakers from Portable Sound Laboratories can hold an iPod or iPod Nano (and other mp3 players) and punch out a fantastic sound that you just wouldn’t expect from something so small!

In essence, the iMaingo speakers are a hard case for your iPod with built in speakers. Devices like this are not normally known for their superior quality output but the iMaingo is the exception! You’re not going to replace your home system with these but compare them to the myriad of mp3 speakers out there and you’ll see what all the fuss is about.

The iMainGo is powered by four AAA batteries (not included). The power switch can also be set to ALM mode which stands for “alarm”. When in ALM mode, the device remains switched off until it receives a signal from your iPod. When the alarm on the iPod goes off, the unit comes to life while blaring the song of choice at your slumbering eardrums. This can also be used as a battery conservation setting as well, since the unit will power down between songs.

This is easily one of the best speaker systems on the market. The audio quality is top notch and will work well in most situations. Those needing a cheap speaker solution will find this product a godsend especially considering the high quality to cost ratio and the battery life will provide hours and hours of quality sound.

  1. Very nice. Did you open an online store Andy?

  2. yup! I thought it would be a nice way to sell some stock I have and see if it works out better than affiliate links. These are good speakers, I use them at work when I watch movies on my laptop, much better sound than the laptops speakers and loud enough so I can hear what is going on with all the hussle and bussle of work..

  3. That’s so great Andy.

I am now trying to find a place to nominate your for ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR!

  4. thanks Sharon! better wait until some units sell first!
I think I’ll cross promote on ebay, maybe make a listing that charges more and encourage people to come here to get it cheaper…

  5. These look cool … bummer is, and I must fall on the sword here, no one in my family owns an iPod … YIKES!

However, using a case with speakers would be better for our kids’ ears, as I fear any form of earbud can ultimately destroy their precious eardrums. I mean, hey, I went to concerts when I was young, but my first was at 14 years of age!

Anyone wanna know who was the headliner? Well, ferr-git-yew ’cause that then means you’ll learn just how old this bugger is, eh?!

    :)

Dude, CONGRATS on your new “store”, I like the idea. Just don’t tell my wife! She’ll get the idea she can get all my stuff in the garage and start SELLING IT!!!

  8. Hey, Andy, let me know if you need any help integrating your ebay auctions to your website instead of a link…. I have three ebay powerseller stores and I usually cross promote through my blog. Much more better draw for keywords.

  10. Sharon: thanks for the offer! I put the link up to the ebay listing just to add some other options for people. Funny thing is, two items sold just before the link went up!
I’ve put some pounds into adwords but the clicks are too expensive considering I’ve spent the cost of 1.5 items with no conversions. bah to that!
I’d rather send someone a free set and get them to do a review, the Gospel according to Rhys has sent more clicks than google since Rhys posted his review. looks like he’s getting a sample of the next item to sell! :-)

  11. Micha

Very nice. I need it ;)

  12. Ooor, offer a set in a giveaway, and add the commercial line: “if you can’t wait to win one, you can always get it for the low cost of… at…”.
Ooor, sponsor some other blog to take care of the giveaway and sit back getting some traffic.

I don’t like this being limited to the UK only. X-( Come one! We are on the same time line. :p

I have had them reviewed Rhys from “The Gospel According To Rhys” which generated some sales. I guess a contest is imminent!

I was hoping you can help me i like the look of this case and spks and I can see you are selling cheaper than others. I am going on holiday on the 1st and need some spks can you tell me if a iRiver Clix 2 8GB MP3 Player fit in this case?

  25. I didn’t see how long the battery life was.. which is pretty important considering you’re using AAA’s and not a rechargeable power supply.

All in all a very cool unit.

  26. Looks great – we go on holiday soon so i might get one, my son would love it!

  27. These speakers look really kwl. How long do the batteries last with them?

  39. I don’t think you’re chances are good but I’m not a lawyer. If your contract said you needed to inform the company, you should have. Since you removed the equipment I have to assume you owned it. You do have a counter argument in that the company didn’t provide due diligence in noticing that the system was no longer working. Not good for an alarm monitoring company. You could argue that this shortcoming meant they weren’t doing their job and didn’t uphold their end of the contract. I don’t know how much they say you owe. It might be cheaper to pay them off and learn one of those “hard knock” lessons rather than hire a lawyer. They’re probably banking on this, but it’s a fact that you may come out ahead unless you can act as your own attorney and it doesn’t cost you to take the necessary time off from work.

  40. Do these have a standard 3.5mm mini-jack? Also, do you think they’d be an improvement over the speakers on a netbook? I’m looking for something a little better for when I’m travelling and want to watch movies in my hotel room. :)
