I really don't get why people get so upset about getting emails. It's words on a screen. Sure, they can be annoying. But I'd rather have 1000 emails than one annoying phonecall, or a visit from the Jehovas Witnesses (no offence to any JW's out there). I can get rid of those 1000 emails with a few mouse clicks. Fiona: thanks for telling me. I’ve only had 3 out of everyone I’ve emailed and all understood once I said they can unsubscribe or if they want I can remove them entirely from the system.

I can understand how some people may have that reaction but I’m not hawking affiliate products and I’m not a corporation. Just a geek with something useful to share with people who’ll listen
