LOL What will Google’s logo be next week? Perhaps a couple of blushing faces instead of the O’s ?
(BTW I joined CommentLuv.com and put my site in the Profile, but my list of latest posts is not showing in the dropdown. Was that the right place to register my site?)

Update – I figured out how to add and verify my site. It said it was verified, but I’m still getting “Register your site…” in the dropdown, rather than a list of my latest posts

Jon: as far as I can see, your site is the only one registered with a trailing slash so I’ll see if I can update that when I get back home

Andy – cool, let me know when, and I’ll test it again

Andy – almost there. It’s listing posts now, but not showing my latest post (published Saturday morning). Technorati and Google Feedreader both picked up my latest post earlier, so I think the feed is OK and up-to-date

chrome won’t take over firefox in my eyes just yet. It is bloody good on a dual/quad core system but on my single core laptop it is no better than firefox.

jon: the plugin uses curl from the commentluv.com domain to parse the feed pointed to by your feed link so it should see what you see when you browse to your feed. I can’t think why it is not picking up the very latest post, maybe some protection by wordpress or feedburner that prevents scraping of the very latest post?
sean: ah yes, I suppose I haven’t tried it on a laptop yet. I still have to load up FF a few times if I want advanced web developer stuff so it’s not the greatest ever yet but it has potential!

Hi Andy
Seems to be working OK now. I made a new post on my blog about 20 minutes ago, and CommentLuv has listed it this time. Weird, maybe there was a cache somewhere that didn’t get updated!

Andy, did you see the blog post over on loadofbullshit.com about the license agreement they launched Chrome with?
Pretty scary stuff if you ask me…Proxys last blog post..schoolworksurfing.info
September 10th, 2008 on 3:01 pm
Yeah, I think it’s pretty wild the licensing agreement. Google is pretty much stating they own the rights to everything you do on the internet.
I don’t think so.
And people wonder why google got an anti-trust lawsuit against them???
October 2nd, 2008 on 3:36 am
That’s a riot. I’d expect to see something like that in MSIE, but not in Firefox or Chrome, of course! I had no idea how bad the EULA was originally… hey, do no evil, right… at least don’t get caught!
