Please excuse what might be a dumb question (I’m the biggest newb ever with a far less impressive brain!) but when you were talking about working with JS-Kit you mentioned Javascript. I know you said the current problem with the new Typepad commenting system is that it runs on Javascript. Will your work with JS-Kit someone create the ability to run CommentLuv on Typepad once again? (Again, If this is a super-dumb question try not to laugh TOO hard at me.)

lesley: I think there will be time to work on the typepad version of commentluv soon. in fact, there will be an API that people can use to talk to the commentluv server which could open up all sorts of plugins if people choose.
I’ll get on it as soon as I can, things are busy now but I’m sure I’ll get a day soon where I can take apart the code and maybe work something out.

I must agree that CommentLuv is one of the best plug-ins that I have *yet* to install on my blog. Really unique, beneficial and fun. BTW, happy new year (belated) to all!
