I made a change to my .htaccess file few weeks ago, and it handled the redirect to my new permalink structure perfectly. Thanks!
But the .htaccess file seems to have reverted back to its prior configuration in the past day or two. I’ve fixed it, but why would this have changed? Does WordPress or one of its more common plugins make these changes for me without my approval? I’d really like not to have to test this every few days.Plz suggest

Change the WordPress permalink structure to the best format, and yes it’s a little bit scary :D...

Today this blog is about 2 months old. It is only 2 weeks ago when I began to put more attention on how search engines see my pages. Let me be honest with you that at this moment the search result from this blog on Google looks bad.
Speaking about sea...

Hey there, your "Hello Googler" message prompted me to write a comment :) heh. Thanks for the link, I really appreciate that. Being a near perfectionist, I am always unsatisfied with my blog's default permalink structure (which goes like this: /%post_id%/)... thanks providing the link to the plugin, and now I've successfully changed my permalink structure without any majoc screwups (so far...) :D

I like the permalink redirect I use it on all my blogs. I like Sharon's idea for creating a customized 404 page. I'll put that on my "to do" pile.

Okay, Andy. Let me say it again. Genius :)

It's not just because you wrote a plugin. It's because this is one of those plugins that are going to eventually be on every blog, just like SUBSCRIBE TO COMMENT .....
