I was invited down to Manchester by UKFast some weeks ago to talk about CommentLuv and answer a few questions about the site and why their server is so bloody awesome (it really is!).

one nice thing to come out of being terrified out of sleep is the chance to do some video blogging on the beach. hear the shock, see the mess! (it was all magically cleaned up spic and span by the time I woke up from a nap)

This is my video made as soon as I opened my new Toshiba Camileo Pro HD cam (well, a bit of charging was needed). It’s 720p HD footage and Vimeo do a good job of streaming hd footage.

You’ll have to view the video at Vimeo to see it in HD. I had all the light settings wrong and I didn’t have a tripod but, it’s a pretty good camera for a hundred quid and will be good to do future video blog posts.
