Well, I guess one has to decide which is more important:
fresh links or the convenience that Feedburner offers.

Nevermind... I never said it was your fault! :-)

And BTW: now it shows up *LOL*

if you use feedburner and commentluv doesn't bring back the right post then it will always be feedburners fault.
there are hundreds of forum messages I have seen trying to find out why feedburner doesn't send back the right post to scripts remotely but it's fine for feedreaders.

feedburner don't answer our questions on their own forums.

it's a useful service but not without it's faults and it's quite a pain to my eyeball when people assume its commentluvs fault if their feedburner feed doesn't send back the latest results. it makes me mad!!

if a script doesn't use caching in it's request to your feed then feedburner can sometimes send back a cached version which is sometimes days old!

if your feed is being read direct from your blog then it will always retreive the latest post.

thanks for your feedback Marco!

@Andy: Check my blog for the answer... :-)

Hey... where is my last post I announced above?
CommentLUV now shows the one before that as last one:

danysworld: thanks for spreading the luv (even though my name is Bailey) :-)

Marco: I saw it and responded. good workaround but I think a simple cl_dostuff(cl_settings) would do the same thing

[...] That’s the reason why I try to make some modifications if I find a problem which will hopefully improve its handling and functionality. I am glad that I could already add my 2 cents that made it into the current version. As of now, I thought it would be nice to write an article of my own instead of just contributing via comment on Andy’s blog. [...]
