james: you know, I’m glad too. I did go the way of checking portfolios and in the end, chose a good designer. It was time consuming but I learned a lot about the difference between what people say they can do and what they can actually do!

this is quite an old post, I’m curious to how you got here…

I am really glad you have failed in this request – if you want someone to do it, view their portfolio and pay their price then they will produce work for you.

Asking designers to do it for free in the hope that ‘you’ll pay the best one’ is ludicrous. Judging by the quality of your site you won’t even know which one is the best.
