This surprised me by being in the top 10 procedures, who’d have thought that men need breast reduction too? well, come to think about it, there were a few boys at school who we’d take the piss out of for having man bewbs!
A breast reduction procedure for a man doesn’t take as long as it would for a large boobied woman, but it should be pointed out that it’s not a recommended procedure for losing weight and overweight men should try other methods like dieting, excercise or other effective methods of reducing man-boob size.

Did you look at the breast reduction link/photos? Most of the before and after sets have completely different nipples. did they redo those as well?
Most of this is silly. My body is not perfect, and while I’d like it to be, I think people should learn to be accepting of what they actually have. Unless there is a medical reason to get it changed, keep what you’re got.

Throckmorton : if you follow this link to Dr. Alexanders page on breast reduction, you can see on step 3 that the nipples do have to be moved as well.
It’s true that most people should keep what they’ve got but imagine you are the woman in that picture.. I bet the mental reasons for doing it and the psychological benefits she felt afterwards would make her disagree with you!

I have to say, I am not usually a “Fan” of boob jobs at all, maybe cause all of the ones I have ever seen have shown these gigantic monsters that just didn’t look right. But all of the boob jobs on the actual MD’s page, look very tastefully done – natural even. And some of the before pictures will help to explain why many of us women do feel that a boob job done right, can really give us the self confidence we lack after several kids and breast feeding!

Why go thru all these stress to look good?
Some women say they do not want to use cosmetic surgery to enlarge their breasts because implants are too obvious.
I guess it all depends on which surgeon you are picked up to do the job.

I think that plastic surgery should be used as a “last resort” kind of thing. Proper eating habits and regular exercise can work for anyone! Most people just give up too early and want to see instant results. =(

Hi, I would like to say, that I agree with what you wrote. I would just like to add, that time healing for scar tissue depends on the patient’s type of healing, but it happens rarely, that the scars are visible for a longer period of time; especially in the legs, knees, ankles and calves.
